The performers:
Fundraiser Show for the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival!
7:00 pm- The Bachelor and the Bad Actress: An all-original acoustic duo featuring Joseph P. Swelterpants and his lady Hillary that sounds like a film about two folk musicians hanging out at an absurdist honky tonk, occasionally throwing bombs.
8:00 pm- Griefcat: Griefcat’s songs range from hilarious to sincere with a unique sound akin to Flight of the Conchords, mixed with a little Dolly Parton and an indie flair. Griefcat entertains with music about the trials, joys, and tribulations of modern life. As one concert goer said, seeing Griefcat was “the most fun I’ve had since Lizzo”.
9:00pm- Greenbelt Honk! Situation: Greenbelt Maryland’s community street brass band!

The Porch Delights: Front porch-style Americana music settin’ somewhere between lemonade and moonshine! These local luminaries started stringing up lights and hosting pop-up porch gigs for neighbors and live-streamed outdoor jams when they couldn’t hit the venues during the pandemic. Now, harmonizers Ruthie Logsdon – rhythm guitar (30+ Wammie Award winners, Ruthie and the Wranglers), Arch Alcantara – lead guitar (Ruthie and the Wranglers, HalFSmokes and more) and Bill Williams – mandolin/harmonica (Jelly Roll Mortals, Last Train Home) are lighting up every stage they hit and rustling up down home fun with some Buck Owens, The Band, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Dave Dudley, Patsy Cline and surprises. Solid, spritely and sincere. Pull up a chair! (7 to 9pm)
