“From Here to Eternity” Free Monday Matinee at 1:00 pm. With Deborah Kerr, Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Montgomery Cliff. Enlisted men in Hawaii fight for love and honor -and sometimes, not at all- in the days preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor.

“The Starling Girl Seventeen-year-old Jem Starling struggles to define her place within her fundamentalist Christian community in rural Kentucky. Even her greatest joy of dancing with the church group is tempered by worry that her actions are sinful and she is caught between a burgeoning awareness of her own sexuality and her religious devotion. With the return of Owen, an enigmatic youth pastor, Jem soon finds herself attracted to his worldliness and charm. Slowly, he draws her into a dangerous relationship that could upend their entire community.

“L’immensita With Penélope Cruz, Vincenzo Amato, Luana Giuliani, Patrizio Francioni, Maria Chiara Goretti, Penelope Nieto Conti. Clara (Penélope Cruz) and Felice struggle to raise their three children in 1970s Rome. Their trans son Andrew yearns for another life, escaping into his own imagination to defuse family tensions in this creative and moving film about growing up and breaking the mold.

“You Hurt My Feelings” with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tobias Menzies, Michaela Watkins, Arian Moayed, Owen Teague, Jeannie Berlin. Beth (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a popular writer, and her husband Don, a well-liked teacher, share the kind of relationship that truly, seriously, for the love of God cannot be real: that is, they’re actually in love. Even after decades of marriage, parenting, and their own successful careers, their physical spark has somehow not diminished; in fact, they seem to relish the opportunity to share a single ice cream cone and drive others — including their son, Charlie — mad. Should it come as a surprise then that his own marriage is in crisis? But when Beth discovers that Don has been untruthful to her about his opinion of her work for years — Beth’s world comes crashing down. Has their whole relationship been one Big Fat Lie?

Built as a relief project during the Great Depression, Greenbelt City is a “green town” planned from its birth to provide modern amenities and comforts for its residents. Greenbelt today preserves the original functional art deco architecture and public statuary adornments of Lenore Thomas, a WPA artist. A visit there is like a step back in time to 1938.
