New Deal Open Mic with Tom Gleason: Performers have up to eight minutes (pending their set up time) to play music, read poetry, perform standup, or provide other forms of entertainment. How it works: To sign up, performers put their name in a designated container. At 6:30, the host will pull out names, and each person called will choose a performance slot (1 to 15). Each choice will be referred to as a utah. Why? Ask Tom on open mic night. Those whose names are pulled after the 15th utah will be added to the end of the list to possibly play,  pending time available. If a performer (or the performer’s representative) is not present when their name is pulled, they forfeit their chance to pick their slot!  (7 to 9:30pm)
