Welcome Greenbelt’s New City Manager Josue Salmeron and his Family!

posted in: Greenbelt News

A big Greenbelt welcome to our new city manager Josue Salmeron and his family, who JUST bought a GHI home on Ridge Road! When I ran into them, Josue’s wife Tania Hutchinson was marveling at Roosevelt Center, and the kids Ahnika and Josue Brooks seemed to like it, too. On the left is a brother (of Josue, I believe), who lives in Clarksburg, MD.

Google tells us that the move to Greenbelt from Yellow Springs, Ohio allows them to be closer to extended family in the DC area, where they lived before the position in Yellow Springs as a Village Manager.

Both Josue and Tania are graduates of Antioch College, located there in Yellow Springs, Josue earning a degree in biomedical sciences, followed by a Master of Business Administration degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He seems like a great fit for Greenbelt!
