Christine Doran, Author and Editor
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Christine emigrated to the USA at the age of 29 and a half. The “Lilac the Girl” series of books for readers aged 9-12 was inspired by the time and place she grew up in—but Lilac, her friends, and their adventures are all pure invention. Christine is currently writing science fiction for young readers and also works as an editor.
Christine has lived in Ireland, Spain, California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Texas, but she’s been happy to call herself a Greenbelter for more than ten years now, and lives here with one husband, two teenagers, and two cats.
