Eden Appiah-Kubi, Novelist
Eden is the author of the romance novel, The Bennet Women. The modern spin on Pride and Prejudice was published by Montlake Romance in September 2021.
Eden was born in Washington DC and raised in Prince George’s County. She traces her interest in writing fiction to a local story-writing competition for elementary age children when she was in third grade. Her love of classic novels came around this time as well. When she was in fourth grade, her mother read her Jane Eyre, chapter by chapter, as a bedtime story.
Eden is an alumna of a small New England university with a weird mascot, and is a former Peace Corps volunteer. After returning home, she developed her fiction-writing through years spent in a small Washington, DC critique group.
Today Eden works as a librarian and lives in Greenbelt with her husband and hilarious daughter.
