Mitchelstown performs traditional music mostly consisting of Irish dance tunes, songs, and airs.

The Mitchelstown trio is comprised of Dennis Botzer (piano, fiddle, whistle, vocals), Mark Walbridge (banjo, bouzouki, guitar, viola da gamba, vocals), and Pam Bozzi (concertina, bodhran). They can frequently be heard playing together at McGinty’s Public House in Silver Spring on Tuesday nights. The addition of viola da gamba and piano gives Mitchelstown a chamber music character at appropriate venues.

Mark released a new CD last year, Safe Harbour. This summer, Doc released a new CD of carols for piano, The Christmas Set.
