Chatting with Greenbelter Aaron Solomon at the Farmers Market last Sunday I learned that Greenbelt Access TV is now on Youtube. Â So yay! Â And here’s what’s there so far, followed by offerings from other all-Greenbelt channels online.
Greenbelt Access Television Channel
There I found the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Dixieland Combo playing in Roosevelt Center.  Other ERHS groups appearing are the entire Jazz Band, a flute choir and Pearls, a singing group.
There’s also informative series of interviews by Leta Mach with people representing all the co-ops in Greenbelt. Â Here you can enjoy Mary Lou Williamson talking about the News Review. The video about GHI starring Board president Steve Skolnik and General Manager Eldon Ralph does a great job explaining what it’s all about.
And check out the 2014 Greenbelt Pumpkin Walk.
The Kids playlist, shown above, looks like a lot of fun.  Three Sisters gardens have three videos, and there’s lots of City Council footage.
This is a channel I started, using my videos and some that Jeff Lemieux and others gave me permission to include. There are playlists for Fun Stuff, New Deal Cafe, Greenman and Other Festivals, Eleanor Roosevelt High School, History/Concert Band, Nature,  Home/Garden/Farmers Market, and the Skateboard Park.
I’m offering all these videos to the Greenbelt News Review to help populate a proposed video gallery on their snazzy new website, where this blog will be moving to in some form.
Check the right-hand column for “More Greenbelt Youtube Channels.”
What Else?
So what or who else in Greenbelt would you like to see on Youtube? I’d like to see one showing how to prune shrubs. I’d help with that.
