Red Carpet for “Walk in My Shoes” in Roosevelt Center

What a treat to see the Greenbelt Theatre and Roosevelt Center all dressed up and glittery for a film premiere – let’s hope it’s a trend!

Last weekend’s dress-up event was for the film Walk in my Shoes by David Lloyd Marcus. IMDB describes the plot as “A couple having marital problems gets referred to an unorthodox marriage counselor with an extremely high success rate. He doesn’t counsel any couple unless they agree to a mentality switch. The event flyer proclaimed it to be the “Best Relationship Movie Ever.” And here’s the trailer.

Scroll down on the movie’s Facebook page to see interviews done at the event.

What fun to see our beloved town center used for such a fancy event! Especially one that fills the center with people I’d never seen here before. Nice way to discover Old Greenbelt on a lovely summer night.
